Obituary of Lynn M. Stewart

 Lynn M. Stewart, 58, of Moravia, passed away Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse.

Lynn was born in Auburn on Aug. 26, 1958, the daughter of the late Charles and June Ripley Bevier. She was a graduate of Skaneateles High School and graduated from Cayuga Community College. For the past 15 years she was employed with the CNY DSO as a health care aide. Lynn was a member of the Owasco Reformed Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and Mary Rose, walking on the beach.

Surviving are her daughters, Melissa R. Dyer (Casey), of Liverpool, N.Y., Christine S. Podolak (Darin), of Cortland, N.Y., and Katie M Stewart, of Pulaski, N.Y.; her second mom, Barbara Bevier, of Owasco; grandchildren, Jack and Julie Dyer; her beloved, Mary Rose; sister, Susan Haviland, (Reed), of Moravia; aunt, Donna (Bud) Breed, of Owasco.

She was predeceased by her parents; a brother, Jimmy Hall; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 in the Owasco Reformed Church with the Pastor Rev. EJ de Waard officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. (today) Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 in the Owasco Reformed Church. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fleming, N.Y.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Owasco Reformed Church, 5105 State Route 38A, Owasco, NY 13021, in memory of Lynn.
