Obituary of Carol M. Angus

Carol M. Mudge Angus, 52, of Auburn, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Auburn Community Hospital. A graduate of Port Byron High School, Carol was also a graduate of the BOCES Nursing program. Her kindness and caring manor was spent with 14 years of employment as an L.P.N. at the Howd Nursing Home, Moravia. In later years she worked at Hunter’s Diner in Auburn and for the National Fire Adjusters. A great lover of animals, Carol loved cats, hers and yours, and those needing a home. She loved to read. Surviving is her husband, Bruce O. Angus, of Auburn; siblings, Robert Pennell (Carol), of Auburn, Ernest Leonard (Tammy), of Auburn, and Peggy Van Tassell, of Bristol, Tenn.; nieces and nephews including, Stacey Van Tassell, and Holly Smith; her mother-in-law, Phylis Angus, of Auburn; several brothers and sisters-in-law. A celebration of her life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Farrell’s Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn. A spring interment will be held in Owasco Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors.
