Obituary of Marc A. Gauthier

Marc A. Gauthier, of Locke, N.Y., went home to be with his Lord and his wife (Lori Gauthier) on Feb 28, 2017. He is survived by his and Lori’s four children and their children: Shannon Pinney (Gauthier), Richard, Justin, Zachary, Rachel; Robert Gauthier, Nicole, Austin, Tyler; Jerrod Gauthier, Chrissy, Malina, Jade, Caleb, Camron, Carina; Bridgette Allbright (Gauthier), Thomas, Thomas Jr.; Amy Marcellus; and nephew Richard Naughton. Marc was an avid music lover, and could play almost any tune by ear. Although Marc spent many years as a jack of all trades, he settled on optics in the early 90s and enjoyed a 20-plus-year career at Vision Works as a traveling optician. After losing his beloved wife of over 40 years in 2014, he discovered a passion for motorcycle riding, putting thousands of miles under his belt and living life to the fullest. A small celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 6 p.m. at the Port Watson Mini Conference Center, 131 Port Watson St., Cortland, NY.
