Obituary of Marilyn A. Wheeler

Marilyn A. Wheeler, 87, of Cayuga, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Arlington, Texas. Marilyn was the daughter of Wilfred Smith, Doris Smith and Harold Johnson. Marilyn was a loving and caring mother and mother-in-law; always putting on a smile on everyone’s face with her quick wit. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and will be truly missed by everyone who knew her including her dinner ladies and Beacon Group. Surviving are children, Brad (Laurie) Wheeler, of Auburn, Robert (Rommy) Wheeler, of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Valerie Wheeler, of Cayuga; grandchildren, Eric (Carolyn) Wheeler, of Dallas, Texas, Melissa Wheeler, of Prince Frederick, Md., and Justin Wheeler, of Prince Frederick, Md.; great-grandchildren, Raygan and Riley BoBo, of Prince Frederick, Md.; a sister, Sybil Anderson, of Auburn; one nephew and three nieces. She was predeceased by her husband, Sprague Wheeler on March 4, 2016; a daughter, Anne Wheeler; a son, Alan Wheeler, and a sister, Jeanne Smith. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to either the Cayuga Fire Department or the Cayuga Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
