To Al's family,
I am truly saddened by the passing of Alvin.
Auburn is rich in musical talent and there are many excellent guitarists around, and I am sure all would agree that Al was the best. When Al, Rick Rainone and Jim Andrews would be in a band together and play Deep Purple, Hendrix, Rush or Malmsteem as a musician I knew I was always about to get a real sonic treat-no one in central New York could hold a candle to them. A lot of musicians grew up with Al as a mentor.
Again, I am sorry to hear of Al's death but without a doubt his memory will live on.
