Obituary of Donna M. Fedigan Major

Donna M. Fedigan Major, a lifelong resident of Auburn, passed away peacefully at home. One of the twelve children of Theadore and Mary Ryan Fedigan. Donna had retired from Welch -Allyn , and had been a waitress at the Pioneer Restaurant for thirty years. She loved her large family and her Irish heritage. Donna, was a member of the A.O. H Ladies Auxiliary and was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Church, Auburn . She loved to bake, and was a great fan of the Food TV network , and the Price is Right. Her husband John E. “Jack” Major pre-deceased her in 2014, and son John in 2021. Surviving children: Susan Harton, Bradenton Fl., Lori Babiarz (Jim) Sarasota Fl, David Major (Shelly), Auburn, Christopher (Eve) Major, Auburn Daughter in-law Michelle Major Auburn. Grandchildren; Liam, Kiernan, Ryan, Lauren, Madison, Caitlyn, Nicholas, Nadine and Great grandson Vinny Siblings: Marlene Long, Carol Gallbally, Mary Shortsleeve, Candy Fogg Linda Hale, Jack, David, Bobby & Jimmy Fedigan, Sister in-law Sandy Fedigan Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Donna was pre-deceased by her husband, son, parents and brothers Gary and Billy Fedigan and son-in-law Jeff Harton. Calling hours will be held Thursday December 5, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm at Farrell’s Funeral Service ,Inc 84 South ST Auburn NY.. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 11 am in St Mary’s Church, Auburn with the Reverend Frank Lioi, pastor as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be remembered to either St. Mary’s Church or St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
