Obituary of Elizabeth Seitz Trutschel Bridges

Elizabeth Seitz Trutschel Bridges 5/22/30-6/11/24 Our Mom passed away peacefully the morning of June 11,2024 at the age of 94. She graduated from East HIgh School and obtained her RN from Auburn City Hospital School of Nursing in 1951. She started her nursing career at Mercy and worked several years at Auburn Memorial in Labor and Delivery as well as a charge nurse on 1st West. She worked at numerous other medical facilities including Sampson, Willard and Wells College infirmary. Our Mom finished her career as a Supervisor with the Cayuga County Dept. of Social Services. She leaves behind her three children, Jack (Nancy), Barbara Lynn (Ed) and Greg. Her grandchildren who put a smile on her face when she was able to be with them, Kimberly (Jeff) Reynics, Anesa (Lennon) Meadors, Christine Walter, Michael Fischer,Lauren (Casey) Scida, and Callie (Josh) Miller. Her family has grown to include her Great Grandchildren, Sarah and Claire Reynics, Lelan Meadors, Marilee and Weston Miller and the newest addition to arrive January 2025. Mom also leaves behind her niece Elizabeth Emig Rosekrans (Tobey) as well as her great niece, Alexandra Barbara and great nephews,Taylor (Elizabeth) and their daughters Vivian, Josephine, Cecilia and Penelope and great nephew David (Kimmie Cuzzola) Rosekrans. Our Mom was predeceased by her Husband Robert Bridges. her parents John and Pearl Seitz, her sister Barbara and brother in law David Emig, her infant brother John III and daughter in law Judy Trutschel, who she so thought the world of. Our Mother became a Drum Corp Mom and followed the three of us as members of the Purple Lancers Drum and Bugle Corps during the late 60's and early to mid 70's. As a donor through the Finger Lakes Donor Network, our Mothers final act of selflessness with hopes of others to follow. Private graveside burial will be at Fort HIll Cemetery at the convenience of her family
