Obituary of Beverly Ann Randall Jefferds

Beverly Ann (Randall) Jefferds, "Randy", age 84, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 27, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones at The Commons at St. Anthony, Auburn, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born August 18, 1939 to Frank and Ursula Randall in Plattsburg, NY. She was an only child. Randy spent most of her life residing in Port Byron, NY, where she raised her four children. She was hard working and selfless, Randy was loved by her community. In her early years, she was a familiar face in her local school district where you may see her driving your school bus or keeping order in detention. She was a strong, independent woman who took pride in working along side men, traveling the country working on the pipeline as a welders helper. She was a free spirit with a heart of gold. Her many interests included theatre, singing, dancing, bingo, classic cars, the game of pool, driving, and rescuing animals. Randy was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Ursula Randall, her husband, Robert A. Jefferds, and infant daughter. She is survived by her children: Stephanie (James) Poole, Daniel (Sallee) Jefferds, James (Beth) Jefferds, Timothy Jefferds; her beloved grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held at Farrells Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 PM with services directly to follow at 6:15 PM. Memorials may be remembered in her name to The Alzheimer's Association, The SPCA, or The Beverly Shelter's Amazon Wish List.
