It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas F. Squires, age 82, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Thomas was a dedicated custodian for City Hall and the Auburn Police Department, where he took great pride in his work and made many lasting friendships.

Thomas's greatest accomplishment in life was his children.

In his free time, Thomas enjoyed watching sports, bird watching, and taking long walks in nature. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found solace in the beauty of the world around him.

Thomas will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. Thomas was predeceased by his Mother Rachael Murdoch, and his sister Joyce Foster. He leaves behind a son Steven, and daughter Amy, two grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and four siblings, Susan Spaide, Debra Murdoch, Doug Murdoch, and Linda Reed. His kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love will forever be remembered.

Rest in peace, Thomas. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Funeral Services are being held Thursday (today) May 16th at 10.30 am at Farrell's Funeral Service Inc 84 South St Auburn NY with Reverend Joseph Martuscello officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
