Rose Anne (Hleboski) Hawelka, 98 peacefully passed away on Sunday May 5, 2024.

A native and lifelong resident of Auburn, Rose was a graduate of the Auburn Memorial School of Nursing. She spent twenty seven years as a Maternity Nurse at Auburn Memorial Hospital.

A member of St. Alphonsus Church, former Den Mother with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scout Leader, she was an active volunteer at St. Alphonsus. She loved playing cards with family and friends. She enjoyed the YMCA, doing puzzles and most of all spending time with Grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles W. in 1995, and son Robert C. in 1967, her parents Michael and Frances Byra Hleboski, brothers Carl, Addison, Stanley, Floyd and sister Anna Beebee, and son in law Gordon Wiggins.

On Saturday May 11, 2024 Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 pm with Reverend Stephen Karani officiating, at Farrell’s Funeral Service, Inc 84 South St Auburn. A calling hour will be held from 12:00 to 1:15 pm prior to services. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery,
