Obituary of Vicky R. Dean

Vicky Ruth (Riffle) Dean, 68, of Auburn NY passed away on April 29th, 2024 at Auburn Community Hospital. Her service will be held at Farrell's Funeral Service, Inc 84 South ST Auburn NY on Saturday May 4th, 2024 with visitation from 2pm-3pm and service to follow at 3:15pm Vicky was born in Auburn NY to Norma Carnicelli Riffle and Charles Edgar Riffle on March 17th, 1956. She went to Union Springs High School and graduated in 1974. She went on to earn a degree in Mathematics at SUNY Albany. She worked as the Director of Information Technology for prestigious universities such as Rice University and Cornell University. She enjoyed taking care of her house plants and her dog Maggie. She is survived by her children Lexy Dean (Alec) and Alyssa (Hank) Van Boxmeer, siblings Debbie (Paul) Pinckney and Steve (Lora) Riffle, her Aunt Ida Morabito, serval nieces and nephews, six great nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and brothers Charles O. Riffle and Brian T. Riffle.
