Doc was my uncle. He was a strong male influence in my life. Doc and my Dad were very close. We spent time as a family with Doc and Barb, in Elko, Nevada. They had five cats! He was excellent veterinarian. Doc played the organ. He taught me to play. I was able to spend time with Doc and Mary, when I lived in Boston. They had a home filled with love. He loved having children. He always had music playing. He loved his wine collection. He was quick with a story and had incredible wit. He was a straight shooter. He was compassionate. He was a nurturer. He was a faithful caregiver to both Barb and Mary. He had a huge heart! He gave me great advice. I hold the highest respect for this man. He touched the lives of so many. May he rest in peace. Sending love to all those grieving his loss at this time!
