Obituary of RoseMarie LaLonde

RoseMarie Palermo LaLonde, passed from death to eternal life on October 17, 2023, with her husband Gary by her side. RoseMarie was born in her family home of Marion Tavano and Anthony Palermo in Newark, NY on Christmas eve 1935.the youngest of six brothers and two sisters. RoseMarie after High School worked at Hallagan Furniture. In Newark as Office Secretary and at St. Mary’s Church, Auburn for 23 years as Lay minister for children’s religious education. Rose enjoyed traveling and weekly family gatherings at the family home. Rose is survived by her husband. She was deeply in love with him for over fifty years of marriage. A visitation will be held on Monday October 23, 2023 from 9:45 am to 10:45 am with a Holy Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Rose will be laid to rest on Tuesday at 11 am in the family plot at Newark Cemetery. Her marker reads “One for the other and Both for God. “ In liew of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church for Religious Education of Children.
