I offer my sincere sympathy to the family of Bob Foster on his death. I was pastor of St Michael's in Penn Yan from 1982-94 my first pastorate. As a rookie pastor I needed counsel often and Bob was very generous in helping me out. He was active in the parish council and finance committee as well as my personal counselor. Above all he was a very active and devout member of the parish .
I didn't know of his kidney problem. What a blessing he had in those ten extra years of life. May he be at peace and continue to be our heavenly advocate until we join him. Fr. Bill Michatek, Port Bay, Wolcott , NY
