Doc was instrumental in saving my mother Pat Byrne's life in 1976 and caring for her so kindly (yes, HOUSE CALLS) for the next 4 years. We would not have had those extra years if not for him. She got to see both her daughters marry. I am sure he walked right into Heaven without having to stop at the gates. My sincere sympathy to you all.

I have so many fond memories of having "Doc" and the entire family as neighbors on the lake for so many years. I can still picture my dad and "The Good Doctor" as my dad called him, having endless conversations, whether it was on our porch, Doc's porch, or just chatting in the yard. They may of shared a beverage or two as well. To Pat, Doc's children, grandchildren and extended family I offer my sincere condolences. I know he will be truly missed.
