Mr. Edward J. “Ted” Mc Sweeney, of 204 West Genesee St., Auburn, passed away March 31, 2016.

A lifelong Auburn resident, he was the son of George H. and Anne Dooley Mc Sweeney. He was a graduate of the Auburn East High School, and had attended the State University of New York at Binghamton.

He was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, Auburn, and a patron of the Seymour Public Library.

Surviving are a brother, John M. Mc Sweeney (Joan), of Henderson, Nev.; a niece and several cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a brother, Joseph Howard Mc Sweeney.

A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday April 19, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Auburn, with the Rev. Frank J. Lioi, pastor, as celebrant. Interment was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Farrell’s Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn.
