Obituary of Mary Ann Finizio
AUBURN — Mrs. Mary Ann Finizio, 80, of 9 First Ave., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at Auburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
A lifelong resident of Auburn area, she was born on Aug. 10, 1938, the daughter of Henry and Anna Costello Weins. A graduate of Central High school, Mary Ann had retired from GE Auburn with 25 years of service, and resided on First Avenue for the past 42 years. Her husband, Theodore T. “Teddy” Finizio, passed away on Jan. 23, 2011.
Finizio and her husband are survived by their sons, Theodore Finizio Jr., of Auburn, John and his wife Ethel Finizio, of Auburn; one granddaughter, Amy Finizio, of Auburn; five great granddaughters; one great grandson; and Ethel’s children, Matthew, Edward, Timothy, Crystal and their children.
She was predeceased by four daughters in early infancy, Frances Finizio, a granddaughter, and Jaxon Finizio, a great grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at Farrell’s Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn, NY. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to services. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
