Mr. Jeffrey Bernard Oyer, 45, of Wray Georgia and formerly of Auburn NY passed away from ALS after a long courageous battle on January 21, 2016.

A native of Watertown, Jeffrey was born on May 4, 1970; the son of Bernard G. And Helen Winnie Oyer. A graduate of Auburn High School with the Class of 1989. He went on to graduate from Mohawk Valley Community College, was a former employee of McQuay International. He re- located to Georgia fifteen years ago. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church.

Surviving are his parents Bernard and Helen Oyer, Auburn daughters Brittany, Chelsea, Cierra, Brooke one grand son Ashdon Oyer-Smith

Jeffrey was a great father, friend, brother and special son. He enjoyed fishing trips with his father, camping trips in the Adirondacks. Jeff loved the simple life, the outdoors, the change of seasons, the love of family. He was a tender man, offering his home and a meal to perfect strangers. He will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday April 16, 2016 from 11 am to 1 pm at Sacred heart Church 90 Melrose Rd Auburn, with a Memorial Mass to follow at 1:15 p.m in Sacred heart Church.
