OBITUARY OF TIMOTHY J. WILKINSON

Timothy J. Wilkinson passed away after a brief illness on October 28, 2025 at Crouse Irving Hospital at the age of 72. Tim was predeceased by his parents, Hannah and Eric Wilkinson, his sister, Janet Sarah, his brother, Patrick, his sister, Kathleen McMahon, brother-in-law, Leo McMahon and brother-in-law, Gary Volk.

He is survived by his daughter, Kayleen (James) Spicer of Jamesville, his brother, James (Gloria) Wilkinson of Auburn, his sister, Maryann (Lawrence) Charette of Auburn, his sister, Theresa Volk of Rochester, two grandchildren, Davey and Eloise Spicer, along with several nieces and nephews.

Born on May 9, 1953, Tim was a graduate of Auburn High School. Tim was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Carpenter Local 277. He was extremely resourceful and had the talent to repair just about anything.

An avid sportsman, Tim was at his best outdoors in nature enjoying fishing and hunting. In his younger years, the thrill of motocross racing brought great happiness and excitement to his life, along with a few broken bones. Always quick with a joke, he loved sharing stories with family and friends. Known for his one-liners, Tim had a knack for making people smile, a trait no doubt inherited from his Irish mother. His kind and generous heart endeared him to everyone who knew him. Tim will be deeply missed.

Friends may call Saturday, November 15th from 11 am to 12 pm at Farrell’s Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South Street, Auburn, NY where his funeral service will follow immediately at noon. Interment will be private at a later date.
