Samuel Vincent Carnicelli, 84, of Seneca Falls, NY passed away peacefully on September 1st, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Samuel was born on June 16th, 1941 in Auburn, NY to Samuel and June (Wilson) Carnicelli, the eldest of 8 children. Following his service in the US Marines, Samuel owned & operated Apex Paving in Seneca Falls for 46 years. Samuel was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing nationwide. He had a great love of history & was a lifelong Yankees & 49ers fan.
Samuel was a devoted partner, loving parent and cherished grandparent. Samuel lived his life with an unmatched sense of humor, storytelling and profound devotion to his family. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Auburn.
Samuel is survived by his children: Samuel, Jason, Dana, Jonathan (Kourtney) Carnicelli & Brenda Holmes; 16 grandchildren & one great-grandchild; brother John (Claudia) Carnicelli; sisters: Peggy Mosley & Mary (Tim) Murphy, & many nieces & nephews, & his devoted dog, Lulu.
He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel and June (Wilson) Carnicelli, son Mark Carnicelli, his sisters Barbara Wyant, Louise Deuel & June Carnicelli; brother Tony Carnicelli, and fiancé Betty Babcock.
Military and Graveside Services will be Monday September 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Auburn. With the Reverend Frank Lioi, Pastor of St. Mary's Church officiating.
