Wojciech M. Perek, 61, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.

A native of Krakow, Poland he was the son of Kazimierz and Alfreda Perek. He was a university and high school graduate prior to arriving in Auburn in 1987. Wojciech was a Master Technician for several central New York businesses. He then began a career with Medent/Community Computer as a Computer Technician in 2001, and was still working with the company.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, a collector of watches and always enjoyed a ride on his Ducati Motorcycle. Most important was spending time with his family and friends. He loved traveling to Poland to connect with family and friends. He also loved relaxing at a great beach anywhere, anytime. His favorite flowers were poppies. A favorite gathering was always Sunday Fun Day.

Surviving are his wife, Shannon M. Reilly Perek; his daughter, Olivia (Al) Clark, Vermont; two grandchildren, Cora and Owen Clark; his brother, Andrzej (Jadwiga) Perek; and two nephews in Poland, Jakub and Bartek Perek; his mother and father-in-law, Judy and Pat Reilly; brothers and sister-in-laws: Michael, Tim (Tammy), Dan, Shawn and Brian Reilly and Megan (Jeff) Alberici; and several local nieces, nephews and cousins, and many friends. He was pre deceased by his parents and sister-in-law, Susan Reilly.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 30, 2025 in Sacred Heart Church, 90 Melrose Rd., Auburn with Reverend Michael Brown as Celebrant.
