Obituary of Mary Ellen Maloney Glauberman

Mary Ellen Maloney Glauberman, peacefully passed away on Sunday with her family. The daughter of Albert and Mildred Roach Maloney, Mary Ellen was a graduate of Auburn East High School and Auburn (Cayuga) Community College. She was employed by Red Starr for several years, retiring from Food Service at Auburn High and Herman Ave Schools. She married Thomas Glauberman May 6, 1967. She enjoyed traveling, reading and mostly spending time with family. A devote catholic, she was a member of St. Alphonsus Church, and was very proud of her Irish heritage. In earlier years, she was a Cub Scout Den Mother. Surviving are a son, Thomas Glauberman, Jr., Liverpool, N.Y.; grandchildren, Brian Glauberman, Liverpool, Elaina Glauberman, Liverpool; niece, and nephews, Jennifer Kraft, Robert Maloney, Lawrence Glauberman. Mary Ellen was predeceased by her husband, Thomas; daughter, Margaret; her parents; and two brothers, Albert and James Maloney. On Monday, June 30, 2025 at St. Alphonsus Church a calling hour will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Louis Vasile as celebrant. Interment will be held in Fort Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be remembered to the St. Alphonsus Food Pantry, 90 Melrose Rd., Auburn, N.Y.
