Obituary of James E. "Jim" Mc Keon

James E. "Jim" Mc Keon, 71, of Auburn, N.Y., went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 17, 2025, at his home. The son of James P. and Neva Wheeler Mc Keon, Jim was a 1971 graduate of Auburn High School. He then attended and graduated from Auburn (Cayuga) Community College. He went onto a successful career in banking in Auburn and Seneca Falls. He retired in 2015 as Branch President of M&T Bank, Seneca Falls, N.Y. He was a member of Auburn Calvary Chapel where he served his Lord and church family. Jim also was a member of the Auburn Rotary Club, serving as Treasurer. He held many memberships in Auburn charitable organizations over the years. He enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, and his home. Surviving are his sister, Linda (Craig) Hickok; two nieces, Melinda (Josh) Ostrouch, Sarah (Ben) Kisselstein; great-niece, Chloe Kisselstein. An amazing brother and uncle, who loved time with family and friends. On Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Calvary Chapel of Auburn, 2090 Cranbrook Drive, Auburn, calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:15 p.m., with Pastor Ted Martin officiating. A private family interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be remembered to Calvary Chapel.
