
Obituary of Bernard C. Pullen
Bernard C. Pullen, 94, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, peacefully at home in his recliner, watching TV and looking out the window.
Bernard was born in Auburn, on August 29, 1930, to Agnes and Clarence Pullen.
He attended Auburn Central High School and was a ten year veteran of the National Guard.
Bernie, as he was well known, was a retired Truck Driver from Southern Container Co. in Camillus. He lived in Auburn, Skaneateles, Weedsport all his life except for a brief time in Florida.
Throughout his life, he loved camping, country music, NASCAR, Indy Car, D.I.R T. and Auburn history. Meeting with his coffee and breakfast buddies was a great part of his day. He never missed an opportunity to tell a joke or two.
Surviving are a son, Ron (Dee) of Baldwinsville; daughter-in-law, Pam (Roger) of Weedsport; grandchildren, Rych (Carla) Pullen of Grasonville, Md., Rachel (Sean) Pullen of Sennett, Renee Schneider (Adam) of Elbridge; great-grandchildren, Allen O'Neil (Chelsea) of Weedsport, Keefer Pullen of Grasonville Md., Isabelle and Addilyn Schneider both of Elbridge, Caylee Holmes of Sennett. He was blessed to hold the title of Great-great-grandpa to Jackson O'Neil, Reagan O'Neil, and Merlin O'Neil of Weedsport.
Bernard was predeceased by his parents; his wives, Edith and Joyce; brothers, Charles, Gerald, infant, Clarence; and a sister, Mary Lou; as well as his son, Roger.
The family would like to thank Dr. Gail Keenan, Melody and the entire staff at Family Care Medical Group in Skaneateles for the many years of excellent care. Also, many thanks to his home health aides who went above and beyond caring for him. You are appreciated beyond measure.
A calling hour will be held April 19, Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Farrell's Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn with a Service to follow at 12:15 with Reverend Louis Vasile officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
