She was married to Paul Farrell for 28 years. She loved her children, her grandchildren, and very much enjoyed watching her favorite Soap Opera; Young and the Restless when she wasn’t taking in a Lifetime movie. She always loved having her family all together so she could spend time with those she loved the most. Bessie’s trademark was the Winnie the Pooh Tattoo on her left arm. She was described by her friends and coworkers as having an infectious smile, much like Pooh. She adored cats, and had a passion for rescuing the strays at the Chestnut Ridge Boarding Kennel, where she resided at the private residence for most of her life.
