Obituary of Bernadine Willet

Bernadine Willet, age 85, of Shelby Township, MI, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Bolton Brook Manor in Metamora, MI. Bernadine May Morgan was born August 2, 1931 in Auburn, New York. She is the daughter of the late Henry and the late Jeanette (Pullen) Morgan. Bernadine grew up and attended school in Auburn, New York. As a young lady, she worked for the local Auburn department store. She married Robert George Willet on October 15, 1949 in Auburn, New York. Robert preceded Bernadine in death on July 15, 2004. She was a homemaker, raising her family. For 12 years Bernadine lived in Port St. Lucie, Florida but lived most of her life in Shelby Twp., MI. Bernadine attended her church as often as she was able. Bernadine is survived by five daughters: Mary (Robert) Kaldahl of NC, Christine (Rick) Fox of Imlay City, MI, Nancy (David) Drozdowski of Metamora, MI, Carol (Jeffrey) Leach of North Branch, MI, and Janet (Steven) Swartwood of Imlay City; one son: Robert Willet of Marlette, MI; one sister: Barbara (Allen) Eaton of Skaneateles, NY; two brothers: Richard Morgan of Port St. Lucie, FL and Henry (Shirley) Morgan of Auburn, NY; 12 grand-children; and 22 great grand-children. She was preceded in death her husband: Robert Willet; her great grandson, Tyler Fox; and ten brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Farrell's Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South Street, Auburn. There will be an hour of visitation on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Fleming.
